Coaching

The Exies Acmy Basketball Club is delighted to announce our coaching appointments for 2010. We would like to thank everyone for their commitment to the club, as a volunteer coaching role requires a significant amount of time and effort.

The Club is excited to announce that 4 of our current junior players who have been participating in our Cadet Coaching program will be taking on more responsibility this season with head coaching roles.
They will continue to be ably supported by seniors in mentor roles. Congratulations to Matthew Nevett, Emily Brugman, Imogen Wilson and Kelsey Gannon. A number of other juniors have also committed to
our Cadet Coaching Program offering their assistance at training. This includes Sam Gray, Felici
ty Cole and Jane Swift.

We have endeavoured to name a minimum of seven players in all teams however that is not always possible. If a team has more than seven players we encourage the coach to communicate with all
players and parents about a rotation system. Often players have school, family and other sporting commitments and are not always available. Notice in advance to coaches and team managers assists
us in ensuring that each week teams have sufficient players.

A reminder to all players from U/10 to U/14 - your basketball is played on a Saturday. A ticketing system
is used where you must purchase your ticket prior to the game and give to your Team Manager.

All U/16 A & U/18 A games are played on a Tuesday evening. Cost will be $8 and you will be required
to give your money to your Team Manager.

All U/16 B & U/18 B games are played on a Friday evening. Cost will be $8 and you will be required to
give your money to your Team Manager.

All games will be played at either the Win Minerdome or the Wendouree Netball Centre.
